This is only really necessary for games in which there are objects flying above your head (such as airplanes). This gives a fully immersed setup, with a sound that can’t be beat (plus there are two subwoofers, instead of one). Of course, it is more than likely that your room is too small for this, and these setups are incredibly expensive (not to mention, very few games actually use such an expansive sound setup.
